ABOUT OUR HOSTS:  

Vanessa Zamudio is a local attorney whose primary focus is criminal defense and real estate law. She was born and raised in Elgin, IL where she attended St. Joseph Catholic School, St. Edward Central Catholic High School, and Elgin Community College before heading off to Loyola University for her bachelors degree and the John Marshall Law School for her juris doctorate. After law school, she became a Kane County Assistant State's Attorney before opening up her own law firm right here in Elgin, just three months after receiving her law license. Her goal is to ensure that legal services are accessible and affordable to all, especially the spanish-speaking community. She takes great pride in seeing the look of relief on her client's faces when they realize she is fluent in Spanish. When she is not running between courthouses and closings, she is busy being a mom to her two boys and helping run the local Elgin youth football league, the Elgin Steelers.
