Elgin Hispanic Network will honor the 2009 scholarships winners at our
annual Thanksgiving Luncheon on Wednesday, November 18, 2009.

Ismael Hernandez
Ismael Hernandez is a 2009 graduate of Elgin High School. He
is bilingual and his family is from Mexico.
He is attending DePaul University. He has one brother who
attends Elgin Community College. |

Isabel Diaz
Isabel Diaz is a 2009 graduate of Elgin High School. She is
bilingual and her family is from Mexico.
While attending the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, Isabel
will be majoring in business. She has an older brother who
attends the University of Iowa. |

Christian Pereda
Christian Pereda is a 2009 graduate of Elgin High School. He
is
bilingual and his parents are from Mexico. He will attend the
Illinois Institute of Technology.
Christian has three brothers. |
